Scan-credit purchase terms

Effective September 11, 2026. Version 2026-09-11-personal-v1. The current purchase flow is for personal and hobby use; business purchasing is deferred. Website checkout remains closed pending final launch checks. Existing Stripe links may still accept payments directly. Publishing these terms does not open website checkout or authorize a charge.

Seller and contact

Trismag is operated by Jonathan Hill as an individual. No LLC is represented as the seller. For purchase, delivery and refund questions, contact hello@trismag.dev. Our current payment processor account displays Phantom; the purchased product must clearly say Trismag scan credits. Check the product and amount before paying.

What you buy

A pack adds 10,000 scan credits for $9 USD, plus applicable tax shown before payment. This is a one-time purchase, with no subscription, automatic renewal or automatic top-up. Buying credits does not authorize later charges. The checkout total controls the amount you authorize; contact us before paying if it differs from the advertised pack and tax.

Credits pay for Trismag API inspection under the published input, size, concurrency and rate limits. They do not buy a guarantee of detection, prevention, uptime, response time or dedicated capacity. A bounded conversation or accepted tool-manifest request is one scan under the current API metering contract; oversized or incomplete operations and retry handling follow the documented API contract. Credits are not money, are not transferable between customers and cannot be used for unrelated products.

Free access and delivery

Limited free usage continues after the demo ends on September 30, 2026. The current free-key allowance is 500 scans per calendar month, subject to published limits. Purchasing a pack is optional. The free allowance is used before paid credits.

Create your Trismag account and save its API key before buying. Use the same email address at Stripe checkout. Never enter your API key in a payment field or URL. A confirmed paid checkout is matched to that existing account; credit delivery can be delayed if the email does not match, payment is still processing, or delivery fails. Returning to the website is not proof that credits were delivered. Use the authenticated GET /v1/usage endpoint to check your paid balance.

The personal purchase page asks you to confirm personal use and accept these purchase terms. Your account key is sent only to Trismag through its website gateway. We record the account-key hash, terms version, time and a random checkout reference; that reference is sent to Stripe to link the resulting purchase. This records acceptance through our website, not through every possible direct Stripe link. A direct-link payment is not automatically treated as proof that these terms were accepted. Existing refund promises and mandatory rights remain applicable.

If credits do not appear, email hello@trismag.dev with your account email and receipt reference. Do not send card details, API keys or sensitive scan content. We review delivery problems manually; do not buy a second pack to resolve a missing first delivery. We will correct an undelivered eligible purchase or arrange a refund rather than require a second payment. A support response time is not guaranteed.

Refunds

You may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of purchase for a completely unused pack. Email hello@trismag.dev with your account email and receipt reference. Requests are reviewed manually to confirm the purchase and unused credits; this review does not make an eligible refund discretionary. Refunds remove the corresponding credits and return the payment through the original payment method where supported. If some purchased credits have been used, contact us: partial refunds are assessed individually, and mandatory rights still apply.

Duplicate charges, billing errors and undelivered eligible purchases will be investigated even outside that discretionary 14-day period. We do not make statutory rights depend on our internal deadline. Banks and payment providers control when a processed refund appears; we do not promise an instant refund. A refund or dispute does not authorize repeated credit grants from the same checkout session.

The current service has no configured time-based expiry for paid credits. This is not a promise that Trismag will operate forever. If we permanently discontinue paid scanning while you have an unused paid balance, we will provide a reasonable opportunity to request a refund for that unused balance, subject to applicable law. We will not silently turn an existing paid balance into a recurring subscription or a new purchase.

Security and service boundaries

The terms of use, privacy policy and published detection limitations also apply. Paying does not change the detector’s coverage or convert LOW into a safety guarantee. Trismag can miss attacks and flag benign content. It does not itself enforce your agent’s permissions or action approvals. An MCP connection makes tools available; it does not automatically inspect every tool result.

An unavailable, incomplete or refused scan is no verdict. Your application must decide how to hold or review content when inspection fails. No latency, availability or detection percentage is guaranteed by purchasing credits.

Changes and rights

Future price changes do not retroactively change the amount paid for a completed purchase. Material changes to the treatment of an existing paid balance will be communicated when reasonably practicable and as required by law. Nothing in these purchase terms excludes consumer rights, remedies or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where these purchase-specific terms conflict with preview-only purchase language in the general terms, the purchase-specific terms govern the completed paid transaction.
